“Do you write the words?”
Yes, for the agreed pages. Useful notes, documents, interviews where scoped and your existing site can be starting material. A major research assignment or an offer that still needs developing is discussed separately.
“What about our brand and images?”
We review useful existing identity, content and imagery before proposing replacements. A full rebrand, photography shoot or extensive asset production is not automatically included. We agree any asset sourcing and license costs.
“More than five pages?”
Yes, we can scope more. Five is the core package boundary, not the limit of what we build. Product catalogs, repeat content templates and custom systems are assessed on the work involved, not creative page-count arithmetic.
“Can we edit it?”
We agree what your team should be able to update and the appropriate editing setup before the build. Text or content updates, layout changes and new features are different tasks. Handover should make that distinction clear.
“What happens on mobile?”
Layout, reading order, forms and navigation are reviewed on small screens as well as desktop. A smaller screenshot of the desktop site is not the brief. Performance, keyboard use and form behavior belong in the build review.
“What does basic SEO mean?”
Page titles, descriptions and the agreed basic on-page setup—not an ongoing search campaign or a rankings guarantee. Keyword research programs, extensive technical remediation, content production and link acquisition are separate services.
“Will you keep our domain and email?”
We plan around what is already working. Domain access, DNS, existing email and connected services are checked before a changeover. A website rebuild does not automatically include moving mailboxes or replacing your provider.
“And tracking or integrations?”
We agree the tools, events, account access, data handling and any consent requirements. Analytics, advertising pixels or CRM connections are not assumed to be configured just because the site has a form.
“What if we change our minds?”
The agreed revision rounds refine the agreed brief. A new service, new feature or changed direction may alter scope and timing. We discuss the impact before proceeding; our own errors remain ours to correct.
“Are specialist standards included?”
Tell us about accessibility, procurement, security or regulatory requirements early. We can plan for an appropriate scope and review. We do not claim a formal audit, certification or specialist compliance assessment merely because the pages look finished.
