Ownership and account access
The agreement identifies the project deliverables, rights, account holders, license restrictions and handover conditions. Third-party services have their own terms. We make those distinctions explicit rather than treating “you own it” as an explanation of everything.
Editing the site
Handover explains the agreed editing areas and workflow. Content updates are different from redesigning layouts or adding functionality. If your team needs a particular editing experience, we plan it before the build.
Hosting and recurring costs
The proposal identifies the intended hosting, platform and license costs and who pays them. Website build fees and recurring services are distinct. Nothing here assumes a bundled hosting term or a compulsory maintenance subscription.
Support, maintenance and fixes
We agree the support contact, any support period, coverage and response commitments before launch. Correcting a delivery issue, maintaining software and commissioning a new feature are different categories. Exact terms belong in the project agreement.
Changes and growth
New pages, campaigns, features and integrations can be scoped as the business changes. We assess the impact on the existing site rather than assuming every request is either a five-minute favor or a complete rebuild.
Availability and responsibilities
Someone needs responsibility for domain renewals, platform accounts, content, access and agreed operational checks. We document the arrangement. A marketing website is not a promise of round-the-clock technical coverage unless that service has been expressly agreed.
